De la Motte Shop makeover

The front of De la Motte photography studio was looking pretty tired, so John Bloomer decorator gave it a rub down and repaint. Those who are observant among you will notice our old sign has been taken down. We are looking forward to launching our new De la Motte photography logo very soon, and there is a nice shiny new shop front to show it off.

Boudoir

Everyone at De la Motte Studio in Shifnal are rushing around to get everything ready for our location shoot tomorrow.
David De la Motte is spending the day at a beautiful location we have found for our Boudior photography. He is being joined by Gemma, Faye, Adelle, and Stephanie all of whom are past customers.

David has his inspirational boards ready for each girl and can't wait to try out the new poses in such a lovely room.

no rain this week please

After all that beautiful weather it has to rain this week.
Poor Claire, De la Motte photography studios baby photographer is having a well deserved week off. Unfortunatly she is off camping with some friends in Wales (in the rain). Well I say camping .... more like glamping. They have taken the TV, internet connection, i phones, laptops hair straightners, and any other electrical gadgets they could fit into the car.
We think she is logging on to check we are coping without her. Enjoy your week off we are missing you.

newborn Aimee

After having a lovley parent and baby session on Saturday Stacey kindly brought Aimee back to De la Motte Photography Studio on Wednesday so that Claire our specialist baby photographer could try out her new prop, a beautiful set of scales.
Aimee was the perfect model as she was born 2 weeks early at only 6lb 3oz so she was the perfect size for the photograph that Claire wanted to create.
Thank you Stacey and Stephen for your help I'm sure you'll agree that second trip was worth it.

Vintage

Jasmine came along for her second photo session at De la Motte Photography Studio today. As well as Mum bringing along some lovely outfits Claire our baby photographer was able to try out her new vintage aged chair during the photo session.
Claire has been working hard over the past year to create her own personal photography style and a unique look for all the De la Motte babies

We think Daddy Vaq will melt especially when he sees the tutu photos.

Murder evening with the De la Motte team

David, Yvonne, Claire, Charlotte, and Suzanne all went to Haughton Hall for a murder mystery evening. The meal was lovely company great of course! We would like to apologise to the two lovely ladies who had to share a table with the very excited De la Motte photography studio team. As usual the whole evening turned into a long photo shoot. Here are a small selection of images from the evening.

And just for the record we thought that Madam was too obvious even though we had worked out all the clues. We should have stuck with our first instinct not gone for the Vicar. Oh well

A year today

We just want to say congratulations today to Claire who has been with De la Motte Photography Studio for a whole year.
Thank you for all your hard work your photography has moved foward so much, and hey even your organisation skills are improving he he.
Here's to the next 12 months.

Models required

David at De la Motte photography is looking for some models to try out a new location for our Boudoir photography.
You must be over 18 years old.
We need a variety of ages and shapes to work with.
You need to be available during the day of Thursday 15th July.
You will have your hair and make-up done pre shoot, followed by a 1-2 hour photo shoot with David on location. He wants to use the time to try out new lighting and posing so the session may not flow as normal.
You would need to bring along a selection of lingerie and shoes.
Please look on our Boudoir gallery for an idea of the style of photography.
These images will be used for publicity purposes by De la Motte Studio.
You will be given a copy of all images used.

Murder

Yes there is going to be a murder in Shifnal on Saturday.
The De la Motte photography studio team are out to solve it and point the finger at the murderer. That is after a lovely 3 course meal, and a few drinks at Haughton Hall.
We are all looking forward to our evening out Claire is quite casual about it all which is pretty good as Charlotte is bouncing around the building asking lots of questions already, but hey she'll be distracted once we have the meal "yum food", let's hope Suzanne doesn't cheat by tapping into her psychic powers to solve the who done it....
